WWE SmackDown: Brock Lesnar Ruins John Cena’s Last Night on SmackDown, Announces Their Match at WrestlePalooza

Ashish Negi

John Cena was in a battle against Sami Zayn for the United States Championship when The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, entered the arena. He delivered two F5s to John Cena and one to Sami Zayn. While Brock Lesnar was after John Cena, Sami Zayn was the collateral damage. He then announced his match against John Cena at WrestlePalooza before leaving the arena.

Brock Lesnar attacked John Cena for the first time at Night 2 of SummerSlam after the latter lost his WWE Undisputed Championship. These two legends have had a long history between them and have featured in some incredibly brutal WWE matches. They will now face each other again at WrestlePalooza when WWE makes its debut on ESPN.

John Cena Celebrates For The Last Time With Chicago Fans

John Cena tonight featured for the last time in Chicago and on SmackDown. He paid homage to the Chicago crowd for always being true to him. He made his debut in Chicago on SmackDown, and there was no better place to bid adieu to the blue brand of SmackDown. John Cena would have left Chicago without a match, but Sami Zayn entered the ring and asked for a match.

John Cena Pays Homage To Legends In His Last Match on SmackDown

Sami Zayn and John Cena fought hard before Brock Lesnar brutally interrupted the match. Sami Zayn dominated the match initially, but John Cena was quick to get his hands on him. He delivered two Attitude Adjustments and paid homage to Legends like Kurt Angle, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns in his last match on SmackDown.

John Cena remembered his debut against Kurt Angle when he delivered an Angle Slam to Sami Zayn, the only difference being that he was on the other side. He then paid tribute to CM Punk in his hometown of Chicago when he delivered a GTS to Sami Zayn. John Cena then spears Sami Zayn in Roman Reigns’ style. All this was, however, not enough to keep the United States Champion, Sami Zayn, down.

John Cena hit Sami Zayn with an Avalanche Attitude Adjustment, but was too exhausted to cover Sami Zayn. It was after this moment that Brock Lesnar entered and laid waste to both John Cena and Sami Zayn.
