The WNBA All-Star festivities are over. The WNBA players had a blast and must be looking to finish the season on a high. The playoff battles will intensify, and each loss will sting even more now.
The Washington Mystics (11-11) have a chance at making the playoffs and will be keen to defeat the vulnerable LA Sparks (8-14). On the other hand, the LA squad must be itching to get an elusive winning streak.
Which team will prevail in this crucial matchup? Here are my favorite WNBA Same Game Parlay picks.
The Sparks defeated the Mystics by 19 points right before the All-Star Break. It was an away-from-home battle from Washington, who are 4-8 on the road.
This one will be a home fixture for the Mystics squad. They are 7-3 at home, which gives them the edge over the Sparks. LA has performed much better on the road, boasting a 5-6 record. However, I see Washington breaking their two-game winning streak.

Austin has been perhaps the most reliable scorer for the Mystics in July. Austin is averaging 12.4 points per game, but her recent uptick in play is not reflected in her average. The center has scored 15 or more in four of the last six games.
She is moving well after recovering from multiple foot injuries. She had 15 in the last game. To be on the safe side, I expect her to score 12+ here.
Mystics vs Sparks Player Props: Shakira Austin O 12.5 Points
Citron recently participated in the 3-point contest. She scored a decent 19 in one of the most competitive fields ever. At any rate, the Mystics’ sharpshooter has earned her chops. She has nailed 1.6 triples on a respectable 36.5% clip.
The guard has made 2 or more threes in five of the last eight games. I see her coming up with another impressive long-range show after an All-Star appearance.
Mystics vs Sparks Player Props: Sonia Citron O 1.5 3-pointers
WNBA SGP- ML: Mystics, Austin O 12.5 Points, and Citron O 1.5 3-Pointers for +210 at BetMGM
The biggest risk with the SGP may be leaning towards Citron making over 1 triple. But it is not a ‘big risk’ per say. The Mystics SG made two in the last contest against the Sparks. Austin pick appears to be the safest.
Meanwhile, Washington’s home record gives immense confidence in their ML. Overall, you can opt not to bet on the SGP and instead focus on the #1 and #2 alone for better odds.
