The Los Angeles Sparks’ playoff chances are hanging by a thread. They are two games back from the 8th-place Indiana Fever (21-19) and will need a final strong winning push to book their spot.
On the other hand, the Seattle Storm (22-19) is not out of the woods yet. While they are in seventh spot, the team is prone to losing streaks and can meander at times.
Can the Sparks win on back-to-back nights against the experienced Storm? Here is my favorite Same Game Parlay, including the prediction for the match.
The Sparks had to fight tooth and nail for a 3-point win against the Washington Mystics last night. They must be exhausted after the battle, and now they are faced with an away-from-home scene.
The Storm is a tough opponent, too.
Seattle is 6-2 over the last eight games, including a dub against the league-best Minnesota Lynx. Meanwhile, the Sparks are 4-4 during the same period, with both close wins and close losses.
The Storm is the favorite here, but I see the Sparks presenting a big challenge as their defense has shown signs of improvement.
I see a Seattle win, but they may not be able to cover the spread of 8.5. Thus, I see the Sparks covering the spread.

Ogwumike has scored 17 or more in three of the last four games. I expect her to follow a similar trajectory here.
