The Los Angeles Sparks (17-19) are in a desperate mood to book a playoff spot. They are a one and a half game back to the Golden State Valkyries (19-18).
Each loss now will sting as the team’s hopes are fading at a quick rate.
On the other hand, the Indiana Fever (20-18) has hung on to a playoff spot despite missing Caitlin Clark. This is an important game for them to consolidate their playoff chances.
Can the Sparks get a much-needed win here? Here is my favorite Same Game Parlay and the prediction for the tilt.
Plum is having an MVP-styled year. She is averaging a boisterous 20.4 PPG on 43.2% FG while dishing 5.9 APG. The Sparks guard has scored 18+ points in six straight games, scoring 23.1 PPG in this period.
She has dished out at least 5 assists in four of the last six games. I expect Plum to come up with a big performance in this huge affair. Plum will probably score at least 19 and deliver at least 5 helpers.

The Sparks are 3-4 in their last seven games, largely due to their subpar defense. On the other hand, the Fever is 2-6 in their last eight games.
Both teams have lost their way at the worst possible juncture, but you have to believe in a turnaround considering the talent level.
The Sparks have the home-court advantage, but it hasn’t mattered to them this season (7-11). The Fever has done well on the road (9-9).
Overall, I don’t think these stats will matter much, and LA will pull off a win here.
