8 Overall No. 1 Picks face-off in 4 high octane clashes!

The weekend’s NFL Week 2 lineup features four-high octane matchups pitting eight No.1 overall picks against each other, blending divisional rivalries and superstar showdowns.

  • Jaguars vs Bengals (1:00 p.m. ET, CBS): Trevor Lawrence (2021, Jaguars) vs Joe Burrow (2020, Bengals). Jacksonville’s explosive offense meets Cincinnati’s slow-starting attack in a potential AFC shootout.
  • Bears vs Lions: Caleb Williams (2024, Bears) will be facing the Lions’ Jared Goff (2016). While the Lions are better on paper, looking at their coaching changes and their defensive woes, Caleb Williams and the Bears have a great chance to pull off an upset.
  • Chargers vs Titans: Matthew Stafford (2009) will take on 2025’s No.1 overall pick in Cam Ward. The Chargers are coming off a win against the Chiefs in Week 1 and riding that momentum, they will try to beat Cam Ward and the Titans who are currently 0-1.

  • Panthers vs Cardinals: Bryce Young (2023) will face Kyler Murray (2019) and the Cardinals. The Cardinals are coming off a win in Week 1 compared to the Panthers who are 0-1 to start their season. Murray has been quietly but steadily improving every season and so is Bryce Young, who had a rough start to his career, but is finally starting to come alive, especially since the near end of last season.

I give love to players when it’s due, but can be critical about their performances at the same time. Enough about me, now let my articles do all the talking.
