Yes, that’s right, the league’s first international game will also be held in Week 1 of the 2025-26 NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, September 5, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The final game of the week will see the Minnesota Vikings going up against Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears, and while all these games can offer something spectacular, the game of the week is the one between the AFC juggernauts, the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens.

Week 1 Prime Time Games

Week 1 of the 2025-26 NFL season will feature 4 prime-time games, starting with the season opener in Philadelphia, where the Eagles take on the Cowboys on Thursday, September 4. The second prime-time game will be held the following day as the Chiefs and Chargers battle it out in Sao Paulo.

Then we will have Sunday Night Football (SNF) and Monday Night Football (MNF) games to close out the week with the Ravens taking on the Bills, and the Vikings up against the Bears, respectively.
