2025 WNBA Playoffs Injury Report and Predicted Starting Lineups Minnesota Lynx vs Golden State Valkyries- Latest Injury Updates for Lynx and Valkyries Ahead of Playoffs Round 1 Showdown

Garima Ranawat

The Lynx are 4-0 against Valkyries in 2025 WNBA regular season.

After a historic 44-game regular season, action has shifted to the playoffs in the WNBA. In the opening game of the 2025 WNBA playoffs, the Minnesota Lynx will lock horns with the Golden State Valkyries at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Lynx have been on the run to convert their 2024 WNBA Finals finish to their fifth championship this season. After beginning the regular season with an unbeaten nine-game streak, they became the first team to secure a playoff berth, and booked themselves the top seed

The Golden State Valkyries had a comparatively rough start to their debut season. However, under head coach Natalie Nakase’s guidance, they quickly got into winning momentum and scripted history by becoming the first extension team to make the postseason in their debut season. They finished in the eighth spot in the standings, booking themselves a first-round date against the Lynx.

In the 2025 regular season, both teams came against each other on four occasions. In all those games, Minnesota maintained their dominance to take their head-to-head record 4-0. While the data is enough to indicate the outcome of the forthcoming series, fans must not underestimate the debutants. Golden State stands a solid chance of scripting history and it wouldn’t want to let go of this opportunity without giving a tough fight.

With that said, let’s see how the 2025 WNBA playoffs injury report looks like for the Lynx and the Valkyries ahead of their first playoff meeting of the season.
