A multiyear collaboration highlights Honda’s eco-friendly innovations and support for the NHL’s green initiatives.
Honda and the National Hockey League (NHL) have announced a multiyear renewal of their partnership, continuing a collaboration that began in the 2007-08 NHL season. This partnership not only strengthens the connection between Honda and hockey fans but also marks a shared commitment to sustainability initiatives.
As the Official Automotive Partner of the NHL in the United States, Honda will maintain its presence at marquee events such as the NHL Winter Classic, 4 Nations Face-Off, and the NHL Stadium Series on March 1, where Honda will sponsor the Honda NHL PreGame fan festival in Columbus, Ohio. This season, fans can also get an early look at Honda’s latest vehicles, including the rugged 2026 Passport TrailSport SUV, the all-electric Honda Prologue, and the Honda CR-V Hybrid, now available at dealerships.
To highlight their shared commitment to the environment, Honda is launching a new video series called “Skating to Sustainability.” The series, debuting during the 4 Nations Face-Off™, will educate fans about the NHL’s sustainability efforts and showcase Honda’s dedication to reducing environmental impact. The videos will run on NHL and Honda digital platforms, social media, and nationally televised games on ESPN.
From its origins in frozen ponds, hockey has always been tied to nature. The series celebrates these roots while spotlighting how the NHL is making strides to ensure the game’s future is environmentally responsible.

I’ve always loved writing and storytelling, and hockey gives me a perfect stage for endless stories to tell. Whether it’s breaking down a game, analyzing a big trade, or capturing the emotions on the ice, I bring the NHL to life through words. So what’s the best part you ask? Watching the action unfold and turning it into something fans can connect with. To my readers: Hockey is more than just a game—it’s the highs, the heartbreaks, and the moments that make us jump off our seats. So, keep cheering, keep debating, and never stop loving the madness of the sport!
