Denzel Aberdeen is a combo guard who plays for the Florida Gators. He has emerged as a clutch performer for the Gators and in the 44 games he has appeared, he’s totaled 125 points, 33 rebounds, 25 assists, and 13 steals in his career. He is a four-star prospect who has a high game IQ and has a lot of versatility as a guard. He is not shy of the big moments and wants the ball in his hands when it’s crunch time. In the 2024 SEC Tournament Semifinals Aberdeen posted 20 points while shooting 4-5 from 3 points range, 6-9 from the field, and 4-4 from the charity strip, which helped the Gators to a comeback win, from 18 points down, against the Texas A&M.
In his sophomore season, Aberdeen averaged 3.3 points, 0.9 rebounds, in 32 games with 23 assists, 13 steals, and 12 three pointers. Apart from the Texas A&M explosion, he scored 12 points against FAMU and added 11 points against Grambling, and also provided key minutes playing against the Pittsburgh Panthers. He’s been named to the FABC All-State twice, earning a first-team nod in 2021 and second team in 2022.

Denzel Aberdeen signed an endorsement deal with the Gator Collective, who support student athletes for their Name, Image, and Likeness endeavors. The Gator Collective raised a lot of money and facilitated NIL Deals for more than 100 student-athletes in their first year. Aberdeen also signed a NIL deal with Food4kids Florida, who deals with chronically hungry children throughout the community and provides them with food and vital resources on a regular basis.
