Clemson vs Duke Preview

Clemson is coming off an 86-87 one-point loss against Georgia Tech in their last match. With 0.03 seconds left on the clock, Clemson committed a foul resulting in free throws, which gave Georgia Tech the win in the third overtime. Chase Hunter scored 28 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 blocks. Clemson is averaging 82.8 points per game and conceding 71 points per game in their last five home games.

The Duke Blue Devils enter this contest on the back of a 54-83, 29-point crushing win over Syracuse. This is the 16th consecutive win for the Blue Devils this season; their last loss came against Kansas back on November 27, 2024. Cooper Flagg scored less than 20 points against Syracuse, which is also the first time he has scored under 20 points in his last five games, where he has averaged 19.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists this season. The Blue Devils, with their strong offensive lineup, will once again look to outclass their opponents and secure their 17th straight win.

Clemson vs Duke – Final Prediction

Well, it’s pretty obvious who’s favored here.  The Duke Blue Devils, top of the Atlantic Coast division, are coming in hot with a 16-game win streak. This is the first time Clemson and Duke are facing off this season, but Duke’s pretty much owned Clemson the last few years, only losing to them once since 2021.  We’re going with Duke for the win and think it’ll be a high-scoring game, probably somewhere between 140 and 145 total points.
