If they stay healthy, it’s hard to bet against them. But repeating as champs is never easy in baseball—just ask the 2022 Braves or 2023 Astros.
New York Yankees (+800) – Can They Finally Get Over the Hump?
The Yankees came close last year, making it to the World Series before losing to the Dodgers. This year, they’ve added ace Max Fried to pair with Gerrit Cole, giving them one of the nastiest pitching duos in the league.
With Aaron Judge leading the offense, New York has all the firepower needed to finally bring a championship back to the Bronx for the first time since 2009. The pressure is on, but this team is built to win.

With a deep lineup and a strong rotation, the Braves have as good a shot as anyone at knocking off the Dodgers. If they avoid the injury bug this time, watch out.
Philadelphia Phillies (+1100) – A Sleeper Pick
The Phillies have been knocking on the door for a few years now, and this could be the season they break through. Adding lefty Jesús Luzardo to a rotation that already features Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola makes them even tougher.
Bryce Harper and Trea Turner will handle the offense, and if Philly’s pitching holds up, they’re more than capable of making another deep postseason run.
